Bosque School is a co-ed independent college preparatory school for Grades 6 to 12 located in Albuquerque's Westside, nestled along the beautiful and serene Rio Grande bosque. We provide middle schoolers with the tools they need to turn their curiosity into questions that propel them beyond the basics and inspire engaged learning – all in a supportive environment that celebrates and encourages individual interests and potential.


We empower students to take charge of their educational journey and build habits that set them up for lifelong success and academic excellence. Our caring teachers use the inquiry model to provide an engaging, thoughtfully-designed curriculum that promotes in-depth learning and growth. Students are given dynamic opportunities to showcase their brilliance and understanding by applying their knowledge through exciting projects.

In high school, students truly shine as they pursue their passions and academic mastery. Our dynamic, inquiry-based curriculum uncovers the potential within each individual and prepares them to excel through the college admissions process as confident learners and leaders.

We empower every student to thrive in our rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, while exploring individual interests and taking charge of their own path. ATHLETICS

Our robust athletic program provides an exciting and enriching experience for every student. We’re committed to building a positive environment where students can compete with confidence and integrity. 

With about 70% of our students actively involved in sports – often across multiple seasons – we offer endless opportunities to explore new passions, work as a team, and contribute meaningfully to something bigger than themselves. Through athletics, our students develop confidence, competence, tenacity, leadership and the skills to succeed on and off the field.
